Rick was diagnosed in fall 2008 with brain cancer. Despite treatment, he passed away on December 7th, 2009 as a huge group of his friends was gathered at Amnesia to honor and celebrate his life by making music together. We will miss him dearly. His music and spirit will always be imprinted on Belle Monroe & Her Brewglass Boys.
