| DIANA GREENBERG |
|
Despite valiant efforts to rise above a childhood that included banjos, Diana succumbed in the new millennium and abandoned her violin for a fiddle, a transition perhaps ritualized and certainly reinforced by the spilling of a (former) bandmate's spit cup on her book of Bach violin sonatas during a particularly spirited picking session that may also have featured bourbon. Fortified by a solid history of failed relationships and powered by insomnia, Diana fiddles with a heartfelt high energy that can sometimes almost catch up with how fast she talks. |
